BRANSON, Mo., September 23, 2013 – When 11 year old Chloe Channell sang the Carrie Underwood cover song “All American Girl” during her audition for the NBC primetime hit show “America’s Got Talent” she amazed not only the judges, but the millions of viewers watching with her personality and talent. Now Branson audiences are going to get a chance to see her perform in person in what will be Branson’s newest show, The Toy Shoppe, November 1 through December 21, during Ozark Mountain Christmas.
The legendary Kenny Rogers and producer/director Kelly Junkermann wrote the music and story for this original Broadway-style production. The show will star country star Billy Dean appearing as “Hank Longley” who owns Longley’s Toy Shoppe ,”a place where toys come to life and children gather to hear owner Hank Longley tell stories.
“The audience joins Hero the Dog, Cheeseball the Mouse, Bruno the Bear and Billy Dean as Hank Longley in this story of love, faith and appreciation for the value of every individual. The story is full of old-fashioned values and is great entertainment for the entire family.”
Chloe announced that she would be appearing in The Toy Shoppe on her Facebook page saying that she was leaving for Branson on October 16 “to star along side Billy Dean in The Toy Shoppe!!… It’s gonna be so COOL!!
