“For the last couple of years the Downtown Streetscape project in historic downtown caused a change in the traditional route of the Branson Veterans Day Parade,” said Preston Garrison, the Director of Operations for the Branson Tourism Center, one of Branson’s largest providers of tourism services and information. “With the completion of Phase I of the project, the 2016 routing for the parade will again have it going down Commercial Street, through the center of Historic Down Town Branson,” he added.

Garrison points out that, as it has done since its inception 83 years ago, the 2016 Branson Veterans Day Parade, honoring the sacrifices of America’s Veterans, Active Duty military, and their families, starts on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. The parade moves in a counter clock-wise direction from its point of origin at the south end of the Branson Convention Center.

As it exits the convention center parking lot, the parade route goes south to Point A, the intersection of Sycamore and Long Streets where it turns east and proceeds to Point B, the intersection of Long and Branson Landing Boulevard. From there it turns north and traverses just about the entire length of the Branson Landing before turning south onto Commercial Street at Point C, the intersection of Commercial Branson Landing Boulevard. It travels south on Commercial, through the center of Historic Downtown Branson to Point D, the intersection of Commercial and College Streets, where it turns east to on College. At the intersection of College and Sycamore Streets, Point E, it turns south and ends at the Branson Convention Center.

Garrison further points out that traffic along the immediate parade route could be impacted to varying degrees from 9:00 AM until about 2:00 PM. He also suggests the two of the best areas to view the parade would be between Points B and C, on Branson Landing Boulevard and Commercial and between C and D as the parade passes through downtown Branson.

The Branson Veterans Day Parade is one of the last of many special events and activities during America’s biggest Veterans Day tribute, “Branson Veterans Homecoming Week”, running from Nov. 5 through Nov. 11 that honors America’s Veterans, active duty personal and their families. How do we compare?

When comparing prices between different web sites, please make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Most web sites display individual prices before taxes and hidden fees, which they surprise you with at the last step in the check out process. And when you see a package price on our web site, it is the total price for all people in your party (not per person).

In many cases, when comparing our price to the total price including taxes and any hidden fees that you might get charged on other web sites, our prices will be lower. To learn more and to make sure that you are getting the best deal on your Branson vacation, please call us toll-free at:
