Branson Christmas, Adoration Parade

Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at 5 p.m. Location: Downtown Branson

A parade is one of the best ways to celebrate the holidays. In Branson and surrounding communities, several Christmas parades are held each year.

The Branson Adoration Parade begins at dusk with the lighting of the largest Nativity scene in the area (known as the “Adoration Scene”). It culminates with a community gathering like no other.
A noncommercial, true-meaning Christmas parade with performances by local high school marching bands, floats created by community organizations from several states, and an appearance by St. Nick.

Branson is renowned as America’s Christmas Tree City and displays thousands of decorated trees to add to its holiday magic. At Silver Dollar City, there are over 1,000 trees decorated with original materials, traditional elements, themes, colors, and lights.

There are some shows open on Christmas Day in Branson.

Branson Landing even offers light displays during the Christmas season. This area’s largest Christmas light display occurs at Silver Dollar City during An Old Time Christmas. Around 6.5 million lights are displayed throughout Midtown during Christmas in Midtown.

December’s average sliding 31-day snowfall in Branson starts at 1.3 inches, rarely exceeds 4.8 inches, falls below -0.0 inches, then reaches 1.9 inches, and rarely exceeds 5.8 inches or below -0.0 inches.

You’ll find Lights of Joy at 700 Expressway Lane, near Sight and Sound Theatre. November 1st, 2022, through January 2nd, 2023, the Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru will be open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Downtown Branson, Branson Landing, and Branson’s Strip are decorated for Christmas from November 1st until January 2nd.
