February’s recipe comes to us from Patricia Presley of the Presleys’ Country Jubilee Show. Patricia is Gary Presley’s (Herkimer) wife. This is a great cake to make for all ages. It is so easy to assemble and make, but its presentation can be quite elegant. If you have little bakers at home they can certainly help pour in the ingredients.

Patricia Presley's Cherry Crunch
Instructions
Pour the pineapple in the bottom of a 9x13 dish.
Add the cherry pie filling.
Crumb the cake mix over this.
Pour the butter evenly over.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top.
Bake 45 minutes at 325 to 350.
Recipe Notes
A dollop of ice cream or whipped cream on the top while it's warm makes a great addition. You can vary up the pie filling if you wish. Also, you may consider drizzling caramel or chocolate sauce over it.
