About the Branson Scenic Railway

The Branson Scenic Railway takes two different routes: the Northern route and the Southern route. Each route reaches 40 miles that take about one hour and 45 minutes for every roundtrip.

The passengers will have the chance to learn the history of the railroad, the Ozark mountains, and Branson. The main activity on this train ride is to see the perfect panoramic view from the train through large windows while relaxing in coach seats. And while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of nature, everyone gets to savor sumptuous meals. Those who want the complete  Branson Scenic Railway experience can join the Dinner Train, serving a four-course candlelight dinner.

Except for January and February, Branson Scenic Railway operates from March and through the rest of the year. The Summer, Autumn, and Winter scenery brings different kinds of train ride experiences.

The Polar Express Train Ride Christmas Special treat for tourists on Holiday vacation lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes. This ride includes the drinking of hot chocolate, eating cookies, listening to carolers, and receiving the gift Santa Claus gives when the train reaches the North Pole.

The “Branson Zipline” is in the middle of the Ozark Mountains, in the Northside of Branson, Missouri. The establishment that runs the zipline activities is called the Wolfe Creek Preserve.

About the Silver Dollar City
