Labor Day comes at the perfect time every year. You’re just getting into the routine of early-morning wake ups, packing lunches, and school carpool lines again. But thankfully, to help you adjust a little, we get a three-day weekend pretty early into the school year.

1. Chateau on the Lake Labor Day Celebration
The best way to end the summer season is with a spectacular fireworks display.! Visit Chateau on the Lake for their Backyard BBQ with live entertainment as well activities all weekend for the kids to enjoy. Bring the whole family along and enjoy the weekend and all that we have to offer.
2. Labor Day Picnic at Big Cedar Lodge
As we prepare to say farewell to summer, Labor Day weekend gives us one last chance to enjoy the high sun and late evenings. Bring the whole family and get your fill of summer warmth and fun before fall arrives. Enjoy fun games, contests, crafts and more! Come hungry and enjoy a menu of mouthwatering foods prepared by Big Cedar’s Culinary Team.

3. Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City
How sweet the sound of Southern Gospel music! With more than 70 different groups and performers making their way to Silver Dollar City this fall, it’s no wonder that Southern Gospel Picnic is one of America’s Premier Southern Gospel events. For 12 days and nights, you’ll see back-to-back concerts from chart-topping and award-winning artists like Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, The Collingsworth Family and The Isaacs and many more of your favorite performers. Between shows, savor southern cooking at its finest at an all-you-care-to-eat feast at The House of Chicken & Fixin’s and explore one of America’s top theme parks.
