Fish Species in Branson, MO
Table Rock Lake, Lake Taneycomo, and Bull Shoals Lake, collectively known as the Branson Tri-Lakes area, are populated with several different Game and Pan Fish species. A game fish is defined as a species of fish pursued for sport. Many game fish may be eaten after being caught, though increasingly anglers are practicing catch-and-release tactics to improve fish populations. A pan fish is an edible game fish that is usually no larger than the size of a frying pan, but is legal to catch and to keep.
