Hi, friends!
Greetings from the Branson Landing! Today, we want to showcase one of our recent additions to the Landing, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen. The restaurant hosted its grand opening near the end of 2019, where Paula, herself, attended to speak to those gathered and sign her 19th book, a cookbook titled, “Paula Deen’s Southern Baking: 125 Favorite Recipes from My Savannah Kitchen.” The family-focused kitchen has been a place many visitors and locals alike are eager to visit as often as possible.
When you first arrive, the aroma of homecooked food welcomes you through the door. You enter into the beautifully displayed gift shop, where you will find various apparel, cookware, home items and even more!
Quickly, you’ll begin to notice—in case you weren’t aware—that butter is a staple in Paula’s kitchen! There are numerous items that preach the importance of butter in EVERYTHING.
You’ve gotta remember to “put some south in your mouth!” That means fried chicken, okra, tomatoes, or truly anything else that can be fried and hails from the deep south is on the table, so to speak. 😉
Paula Deen knows her stuff in the kitchen; there’s no denying that! Along with all of the fun items to be found in the gift shop, there are also beautiful cookbooks of hers filled with the most incredible recipes for you and your family to enjoy—the finest of southern cuisine.
What’s really fun about Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is that it’s just that: family-oriented. When you dine at Paula’s, you will be served family-sized platters of your group’s choosing to pass around—just like you would at home, gathered around your own dining table.
We hope to see you around the table soon at Paula Deen’s! And remember, “Butter makes it better, y’all!”
