Instructions
Cream together the shortening and sugar.
Add eggs & vanilla, stir in the cocoa.
Sift together remaining ingredients and add to cocoa mixture alternating with milk.
Drop by the spoonful on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
Recipe Notes
For the chopped nuts we recommend pecans or walnuts.
