Shepherd of the Hills Historic Homestead Tour
The Shepherd of the Hills Historic Homestead Tour lets you explore what life in the Ozarks was like in the late 1800s and early 1900s. In the 1890s, Harold Bell Wright lived at the homestead while he wrote “The Shepherd of the Hills,” a novel that would later become his most famous work. During your tour in an open-air tram, your guide will take you to many places around the property. You’ll see Old Matt’s Cabin, Uncle Ike’s Post Office, the Morgan Community Church, and more.
The Historic Farm & Playland
A farm is the authentic setting of the world-renowned novel Shepherd of the Hills. The Ozarks began here, and your family can now explore where they started today. Their Lil Pete’s Playland will keep your little ones entertained.
Inspiration Tower
Branson’s Inspiration Tower is 230 feet tall and located on Inspiration Point, the highest point in Southwest Missouri. A glass elevator takes you to the observation deck, which is spacious and enclosed. In any season, the panoramic views are breathtaking. Over 90 miles can be seen on a clear day.
Sky Trek Challenge Course
A Sky Trek Challenge Ropes Course awaits families and solo explorers alike. This outdoor structure is next to the iconic Inspiration Tower, which offers incredible views and an exciting climb.
Copperhead Roller Coaster
One of the newest roller coasters at Shepherd’s Adventure Park is the Copperhead Mountain Coaster. The Copperhead Mountain Coaster opened in 2021 and featured a fast, scenic ride with many loops, curves, and drops. Thousands of LED lights illuminate the coaster at night, and day rides offer spectacular views of the Ozark Mountains. With a downhill track of more than 3,350 feet, Copperhead Mountain Coaster is Branson’s longest coaster.
Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante Extreme ZipRider
If you love seeing spectacular views of the Ozarks, you won’t want to miss the Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante Extreme ZipRider during your stay in Branson.
