The Great Outdoors of Branson: Activities, Attractions, and Adventure!

Hi, friends!

Can you believe we are halfway through summertime? It’s hard to believe that it’s already the middle of July! With all the beautiful summer weather we have gotten to enjoy lately, we’re sure you are ready to get out of the house and do something fun. We wanted to round up just a few of our favorite ways to get outside and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks in safe, socially-distanced ways.

When it comes to summertime, Branson knows how to do it right!

Branson Outdoor Attractions

Spend a day in exotic (Midwest) paradise at White Water! Between water slides, a winding lazy river, wave pool, and shady lounging under palms and cabanas, White Water has something for everyone!

For some fun in the sun, The Track Family Fun Parks offers go-kart rides, bumper cars, batting cages, mini golf, the Branson Ferris Wheel, the thrilling Skycoaster, and so much more! The Tracks have implemented great measures to keep equipment sanitized and ready for your use. What better way to get out in the sun than at The Tracks?

Are you a golfer? Whether mini or otherwise, Branson is full of golf courses that will perfectly suit you. Branson’s many miniature golf locations are the perfect stop for you and your family, and your little ones will be amazed by the fun setups that range from farmland to prehistoric! If miniature golf isn’t quite your flavor, don’t worry at all. Branson is home to some of the most beautiful golf courses, if we do say so ourselves! Top of the Rock at Big CedarBranson Hills Golf Club, and Pointe Royale Resort are just a few stops you’ll need to look into if you plan to pack your gear on your next trip to Branson.

“A bad day of golf beats a good day of work!”

Water Activities

Between Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Lake, and many man-made and natural water attractions, there are some great ways to cool off in the Branson heat!

On beautiful Table Rock Lake, there are numerous marinas and activities to visit! From renting a boat or jet ski, taking a ride on the Showboat Branson Belle, and many more water tours and amenities, the options truly seem endless. There’s even the option of doing paddleboard yoga on Table Rock Lake—or TRL, as we locals like to refer to it!

Table Rock Lake

On Lake Taneycomo, be sure to take advantage of many of the best fishing spots in Missouri that are too good not to share. From Fall Creek Marina to Lilley’s Landing and all the places in between, the fish are certainly biting! Taneycomo is a prime fishing lake that you and your family and friends will love to visit year after year. And if you’re feeling adventurous, kayak rentals are available for you to explore the river-like lake on your own!

Walking and Hiking

When you’re vacationing in as beautiful of a destination as Branson, the options are endless when it comes to enjoying the outdoor beauty of the Ozarks!

A couple places to get in some daily exercise include walking paths and hiking trails! Of these options, a local favorite is the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area. The hiking trails wind through the beautiful forest, enveloping you in Ozarks beauty! Whether a more challenging hike is your thing or a leisurely walk through the forest is more your speed, this popular spot has just what you need!

The Taneycomo Walking Path is another popular walking path, located just along the shore of Lake Taneycomo and resting on the edge of the Branson Landing. This .75 mile concrete walking path is the perfect place for a morning jog, afternoon walk, or evening stroll to take in the Taneycomo views! Insider tip: Lake Taneycomo is especially beautiful in the early mornings or late evenings when fog settles on the water’s surface!

How do we compare?

When comparing prices between different web sites, please make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Most web sites display individual prices before taxes and hidden fees, which they surprise you with at the last step in the check out process. And when you see a package price on our web site, it is the total price for all people in your party (not per person).

In many cases, when comparing our price to the total price including taxes and any hidden fees that you might get charged on other web sites, our prices will be lower. To learn more and to make sure that you are getting the best deal on your Branson vacation, please call us toll-free at:
